First Gen Build, 'Nothing Special'
Well, im not going to repost my entire build on Lunatic but it can be found Here.
Specs: 1980 Toyota P/U Shortbed. 22RE (87 block w/ 89 Fuel Injection Stand Alone harness) W56B Trans Dual Case (TG adapter) 4.88 ARB Front/4.88 Spooled Rear Hysteer normal shit power steering. Build for 37's running 38.5" atm. ![]() Purpose: Rockcrawling, Exploring Rio blanco county... This will be my first year Crawling, Ive messed around but nothing considered extreme. I HATE The mud occasionally Ill play. Starting my idea for a high clearance gas tank that fits behind the frame rails. Since im CHEAP I decided to hack up a 89 EFI Fuel tank and smash it into my late 90's ford gas tank (Aux). Pictures Going to cut this ring out of the top of the tank and install it on the Ford tank ![]() Ford Tank going to put it where the center hole is. ![]() ![]() What im going to have to modify to make it fit in the ford tank, from the bottom of the tank to the top of the tank is 8" Im going to cut the stock fuel pump down to 7 1/2" and I think it should be fine. ![]() ![]() Inside the Toyota tank sits this thing, Guessing it is to keep it from sloshing?

I forgot to mention it on the Pirate thread, but I really like that upper shackle bolt on the left side!

Im on the fence about this cab extension, It will give me about 16" of extra room, I Don't know how much space a Xtra cab gets you but i want it to be close to that. What ya think?

lil extra room is always nice, looks pretty good, would be sweet if you could figure out how to make lil doors to fit, but that probbally wouldn't be worth the effort
